What happened

Savinho - Possible Ankle Fracture. Jeppe published his analysis on 30 Oct 2024, in the 2024/25 FPL season.

Injury explained (physio view)

Possible fracture.

Savinho had to be stretchered off due to a serious injury. Savinho is seen putting an immense force on the medial structures of the ankle in an eversion position. He was seen pointing multiple times to the medial malleolus indicating an injury to this area.

Because the ligaments on the medial side of the ankle are extremely strong it can rip off a piece of the bone where they insert. An avulsion fracture.

Other possibilities are a high ankle sprain and serious damage to the deltoid ligaments.

I expect we won't see Savinho again this year.
