About TheFantasyTool
One model, every fantasy game
Most fantasy tools cover one game. TheFantasyTool covers many - Fantasy Premier League, UCL Fantasy, World Cup Fantasy, the Holdet.dk games, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, the Danish Superliga, Grand Tour cycling, Formula 1, handball and NFL - and it covers them with the same core model, adapted to each sport's scoring rather than rebuilt from scratch for each one.
Whichever fantasy game you play, you should be able to open one site, see projected points you can trust, and plan your team with the same tools. Our aim is to be the preferred choice in every fantasy game we cover, not just the big one.
Built since 2017
Work on the model started in 2017 and has continued ever since. It now draws on more than 70 input sources, and every projection is measured against the points players actually scored - that comparison is what drives each round of improvements. See model performance for how the projections have held up, methodology for how a projection is built, and our team for the people behind it.
What you get
- Predicted points for every player, updated continuously as team news, odds and line-ups arrive - never a frozen weekly snapshot.
- Optimal teams solved on demand for your budget and your game's exact rules, including formation and captaincy.
- A team planner that loads your real squad and shows what a transfer or chip actually costs you in projected points.
- Fixtures and difficulty ratings, predicted line-ups, penalty takers and round-by-round previews.
Honest about the limits
A projection is a probability, not a promise. Things it cannot do:
- Predict red cards, freak injuries or an early substitution.
- Perform as well through international breaks and unusual fixture periods, when there is simply less signal to work from.
- Be as confident about newly promoted clubs and new signings, where there is little or no history at that level yet.
