What happened
Bukayo Saka - Warm-Up Muscle Injury. Jeppe published his analysis on 31 Jan 2026, in the 2025/26 FPL season.
Injury explained (physio view)
Saka was pulled from the squad after sustaining an injury during warm-up, as seen in a clip by @kimmoFC.
Saka is seen changing direction to the right and immediately starts limping. You wouldn't limp like that if it was just tightness, so it's likely a proper muscle injury.
In the last part of the clip, Saka is seen holding his groin (hard to see) and extending his hip (swinging his left leg backwards). This could indicate self-testing his groin, but it's also a movement for testing the hamstrings.
In the end, it's not about the specific muscle but the fact that it looks like a crystal-clear muscle tear.
My guess is that Saka is out for a couple of weeks.

: Bukayo Saka Injury Report: Adductor Strain Against Chelsea
Bukayo Saka was substituted due to an injury during the match against Chelsea.
The incident might have occurred when Saka attempted to bypass Cucurella and deliver a cross, after which he immediately sat down and signaled for a substitution.
It's somewhat unclear what specific injury he sustained, but he was observed briefly touching his right adductor. This would align with the action he was performing, suggesting the injury might have occurred in his right leg.
Additionally, as he left the field, there appeared to be a slight limp on his right side, though it did not seem severe.
My assessment is that we are likely dealing with a minor strain, potentially sidelining Saka for approximately 2-3 weeks. In a worst-case scenario, recovery might extend to 4-6 weeks, but I anticipate a shorter recovery period.

: Bukayo Saka Injury Report: Hamstring Discomfort with England
Saka came off with a right hamstring injury/discomfort last night against Greece.
Hamstring injuries are one of the most frequent types of injuries and this looks minor.
As seen in the video Saka is walking fairly normally and doesn't look in pain or devastated, which is a good sign of course.
Arsenal's next game is 8 days away against Bournemouth and my prediction at this moment is that:
Saka will play.
