What happened
Gabriel Magalhães - Groin Injury on International Duty. Jeppe published his analysis on 15 Nov 2025, in the 2025/26 FPL season.
Injury explained (physio view)
Gabriel was subbed off for Brazil after suffering what appears to be a groin injury.
The mechanism was a full sprint, which is never a good sign. He slowed down quickly and immediately started limping until the ball was out of play.
Several muscles in the adductor group support sprinting, so it makes sense.
I don't feel good about this.
Full sprint and he seemed devastated.
My prediction is that Gabriel is OUT of the North London Derby and could be out for 2-3 weeks in the best case, or 4-6 weeks in the worst case.
