This gameweek will be extremely tough - a lot of uncertainty around popular players on top of a mid week deadline with limited information.

Decision making under uncertainty comes in handy now.

As of right now (Monday night) it doesn't seem like we will get news on Haaland, and other players with uncertainty are Andersen, Wilson, Rice, Evanilson, O'Reilly and I've probably forgotten a couple more.

All of this while we want to postpone our moves as we get more info about the FA Cup before deadline of GW30, as we will know the FA Cup quarterfinals.

General advice:

Solve your problems with few moves

Selling the right player is more important than getting the hottest player

Selling GW31 blankers should be a priority.

Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Manchester City and Wolves players, as that is likely a transfer you have to make anyway.

The most interesting players to get is Salah, Ekitike, DCL, Ndiaye. Most managers don't have defensive problems right now, and it has to be in a very bad spot to spend a transfer in defence right now.

Team selection

This week I will share my flow chart of transfers as they are very dependent on information.

Haaland is good to go: Roll, captain Haaland

Haaland is out or no info:

1) Salah bench rumours: Haaland to Ekitike, captain Bruno (we often get Liverpool noise pre deadline)

2) Salah starts or no info:

a) DCL bench rumours: Haaland & Mbeumo to Salah & Ekitike, captain Salah

b) DCL starts or no info: Haaland & Sarr to Salah & DCL, captain Salah

I think 2.b is the most likely path, meaning I expect to sell Haaland & Sarr to Salah & DCL. I really do not enjoy selling Sarr, but that is the most reasonable move to make, as that will set me up with 11 starters and one playing bench in GW31 (Kroupi), which allows me to roll all the way into GW32 where I finally lock down the chip strategy (if not already next GW).
