Tattico Serie A Matchday 7: best buys and captain picks
Tattico Serie A Matchday 7 preview: best buys, captain picks and differentials
Tattico Fantasy Serie A Matchday 7 starts on Friday 16 October with Frosinone - Sassuolo and closes on Monday with Parma - Torino. The transfers you make this week should be judged on the run that follows, not on one weekend. Matchday 8 is played on 23-25 October and Matchday 9 is a midweek round on 27-29 October, so whatever you buy now has to carry you through three fixtures in under two weeks. Every pick below is shown with its Matchday 7 to 9 program and its projected points over that stretch.
The short version: Juventus own the best defensive run in the league, Roma pair the round's highest clean-sheet chance with the top-scoring forward, and Inter's attack is excellent on paper but spread thin across rotating forwards. If you need the raw numbers, they are all on the Tattico player picks page. Last week's analysis is in our Tattico Serie A Matchday 6 preview.
Matchday 7-9 programs: whose next three rounds are worth owning
The table ranks every Serie A team on its next three fixtures. The first five columns are Matchday 7 only; the last three are cumulative over Matchdays 7, 8 and 9. 3-round CS is the expected number of clean sheets out of three, not a percentage. All twenty teams play once in each of the three rounds, so there are no blanks and no doubles in this window.

| Lecce | [A]UDI | 23% | 0.97 | 21% | [A]UDI → [H]JUV → [A]FRC | 2.51 | 0.59 |
Inter have the best attacking run in the league: [A]BOL → [H]FIO → [A]VEN adds up to 6.38 expected goals, almost a goal more than anyone else. The catch for fantasy managers is how those goals are spread out. None of Inter's forwards is projected to play much more than an hour, so the program rewards the goalkeeper more than the strikers (more on that below).
Juventus have the best defensive run: [H]LAZ → [A]LEC → [A]GEN is worth 1.32 expected clean sheets, the highest total in the game. Their Matchday 7 chance against Lazio is 43%, and the trip to Lecce on Matchday 8 is the single best clean-sheet fixture in the whole window at 50%. This is the program to build a defence around.
Roma are the other team to own. [H]GEN → [A]NAP → [H]CGL starts with the strongest fixture of the round (70% win probability, 2.22 expected goals and a 48% clean-sheet chance at home to Genoa). The away trip to Napoli on Matchday 8 is the one tough game, and Cagliari at home brings it back. Two very good fixtures out of three is enough for a buy.
Como ([A]FIO → [H]SAS → [A]TOR, 5.09 expected goals) and Napoli ([A]VEN → [H]ROM → [A]MON, 1.07 expected clean sheets) round out the top tier. At the bottom, Lecce ([A]UDI → [H]JUV → [A]FRC) project just 2.51 goals across the three games, while Fiorentina ([H]COM → [A]INT → [H]ATA) and Venezia ([H]NAP → [A]GEN → [H]INT) carry only 0.50 expected clean sheets each. Those three sides are where you sell from. For the exact kick-off times, see the Tattico Serie A schedule.
One team turns on Matchday 8: Atalanta are at Milan this weekend (23% win probability), then host Frosinone (2.03 expected goals) and go to Fiorentina. Lazio follow a similar pattern: [A]JUV → [H]PAR → [A]SAS. Both are "buy next week" teams, and we flag the players below.
Best Tattico goalkeepers for Matchday 7
Guglielmo Vicario (6.1m, JUV) is the goalkeeper to own. His program is [H]LAZ → [A]LEC → [A]GEN, and his projection runs 4.7 → 5.1 → 4.5, 14.3 points over three rounds, the most of any goalkeeper. He has a 43% clean-sheet chance this week and the 50% trip to Lecce next.
Josep Martinez (5.9m, INT) is the steadier alternative: [A]BOL → [H]FIO → [A]VEN projects 4.4 → 4.5 → 4.6, a flat 13.5 over the three. When a keeper's numbers barely move like this, you can buy him and stop thinking about the slot.
For a cheaper second keeper, Maduka Okoye (5.0m, UDI) projects 4.4 at home to Lecce this week, then 3.6 against Milan and 4.2 at Parma ([H]LEC → [H]MIL → [A]PAR). Noel Törnqvist (4.5m, MON) projects 4.1 against Cagliari, but his program ([H]CGL → [A]TOR → [H]NAP) drops to 3.4 and 3.4 after that. He is a one-round pick, and you sell him again before the Napoli game on Matchday 9.
Plan ahead: Christos Mandas (5.1m) goes from 3.2 at Juventus to 4.9 at home to Parma ([A]JUV → [H]PAR → [A]SAS), and Marco Carnesecchi (5.5m) goes from 3.2 at Milan to 4.6 against Frosinone and 5.1 on Matchday 10. Neither is a buy this week. Both are worth considering for Matchday 8.
Best Tattico defenders for Matchday 7
The Juventus defence ranks top on every measure we use. Gleison Bremer (6.8m, JUV) leads all defenders over the next six rounds and projects 5.1 → 5.4 → 4.6 on [H]LAZ → [A]LEC → [A]GEN. Mehmet Zeki Celik (4.8m, JUV) is almost identical (5.0 → 5.4 → 4.6, 15.0 over three) at a much lower price, and at 1.04 points per million he is the best-value defender in the game. Pierre Kalulu (6.1m, JUV) (4.9 → 5.3 → 4.6) is the third option. Tattico allows at most three players per club, so with Guglielmo Vicario in goal you can only add two of these. If you have room for only one, take Mehmet Zeki Celik: the gap to Gleison Bremer is 0.1 points over three rounds, and the money you save buys an upgrade elsewhere.
Gianluca Mancini (5.8m, ROM) is the Roma pick. He projects 5.0 against Genoa, among the four best defender scores of the round, dips to 3.5 at Napoli, and recovers to 4.6 against Cagliari ([H]GEN → [A]NAP → [H]CGL). That is two very good fixtures out of three, and Roma's 48% clean-sheet chance this week is the highest of the round.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo (5.6m, NAP) offers the most even run outside Turin: [A]VEN → [H]ROM → [A]MON projects 4.5 → 3.9 → 4.7, and Matchday 9 at Monza is his best fixture. He is the defender to buy if you want to hold one player for the next month.
Mergim Vojvoda (5.5m, UDI) is the attacking defender. He brings 0.11 projected goals and 0.13 projected assists to [H]LEC → [H]MIL → [A]PAR, which is why he projects 5.0 this week, higher than most defenders on stronger teams. The Milan home game drops him to 3.8, and Parma away brings him back to 4.3.
Cheap picks: Jhon Lucumi (4.5m, JUV) projects 4.2 → 4.5 → 3.8 on [H]LAZ → [A]LEC → [A]GEN, but he is a fourth Juventus player, so he only fits if you skip the goalkeeper. Anthony Oyono (4.5m, FRC) is the cheap alternative from another club. [H]SAS → [A]ATA → [H]LEC gives him 4.1 → 2.8 → 4.6, two good fixtures around one hard one, at one of the lowest prices in the position.
The numbers rank Inter's Federico Dimarco (7.0m) well over three rounds (4.2 → 4.4 → 4.4), but his projected 59 minutes mean you are paying a premium price for part of a match. Atalanta's Giorgio Scalvini (5.5m) goes from 3.1 to 4.7 and then 5.0 on Matchday 10. Like the Atalanta keeper, he is a Matchday 8 buy, not one for this week.
Best Tattico midfielders for Matchday 7
Nico Paz (10.5m, COM) is the premium midfielder to own. His program is [A]FIO → [H]SAS → [A]TOR and his projection runs 4.1 → 4.5 → 3.9 → 4.6 through Matchday 10, the highest three-round total of any midfielder (12.5). He is not the top midfielder this week, but he is the top one across the next three rounds. If you are buying one midfielder to keep, buy him.
Chico Conceicao (7.5m, JUV) is the Juventus attacking option at a lower price: 4.2 → 4.3 → 3.8 on [H]LAZ → [A]LEC → [A]GEN. He also shares the club cap with the defenders above, so choose your three Juventus players as a group rather than one at a time.
Nicolás González (4.5m, JUV) is the best value in the position. He projects 4.2 → 4.1 → 3.5 on [H]LAZ → [A]LEC → [A]GEN and returns 0.93 points per million this week. He is the cheapest way to get Juventus's fixtures into your midfield.
Giorgi Kvernadze (4.9m, FRC) is top of the round among midfielders with 4.5, projecting 0.30 goals against Sassuolo. The trip to Atalanta drops him to 2.8 before Lecce at home lifts him back to 4.0 ([H]SAS → [A]ATA → [H]LEC). That is two good rounds out of three, and he is easy to fit.
Buy next week: Charles De Ketelaere (7.3m, ATA) projects 3.1 at Milan but 4.5 against Frosinone and 4.7 on Matchday 10. Federico Bernardeschi (6.0m, BOL) follows a similar curve, from 3.4 against Inter to 4.7 on Matchday 10.
Best Tattico forwards for Matchday 7
Donyell Malen (10.6m, ROM) is the top forward and the top player of the round. He projects 5.3 against Genoa with 0.68 expected goals, and he takes Roma's penalties. His run ([H]GEN → [A]NAP → [H]CGL) goes 5.3 → 3.5 → 4.8. The Napoli week is the low point. The Cagliari home game, where he is the top projected player in the game again, is why you keep him through it.
Goncalo Ramos (8.8m, MIL) has the most secure minutes of the premium forwards (77 projected) and projects 4.5 → 3.9 → 3.9 on [H]ATA → [A]UDI → [H]BOL. That flat profile is a good fit for a forward you want to hold.
Rasmus Højlund (9.4m, NAP) is Napoli's penalty taker. He projects 4.4 → 3.5 → 4.0 on [A]VEN → [H]ROM → [A]MON, with Venezia away this week as his best fixture. Randal Kolo Muani (7.2m, JUV) offers another Juventus route, projecting 4.2 → 4.0 → 3.5 on [H]LAZ → [A]LEC → [A]GEN, but only if you have not already used your three Juventus places.
Cheap forward: Antonio Raimondo (5.4m, FRC) is the best points per million among forwards who start regularly (0.74). He projects 4.0 at home to Sassuolo, and like his teammate Giorgi Kvernadze he drops at Atalanta before Lecce at home ([H]SAS → [A]ATA → [H]LEC).
Tattico Matchday 7 captain picks
Captains score double in Tattico, and Donyell Malen (10.6m, ROM) is the clear choice this week ([H]GEN → [A]NAP → [H]CGL). He has the highest projection in the game (5.3), takes the penalties, and plays the round's strongest home fixture.
The alternatives are both Juventus defenders. Gleison Bremer (5.1) and Mehmet Zeki Celik (5.0) are the safest captaincy floor of the round: a clean sheet against Lazio carries most of their score. Goncalo Ramos (4.5) is the best forward alternative.
Plan your captain for the next three rounds, not just this one. On Matchday 8 the Juventus defenders lead the game at 5.4 for the Lecce trip, and on Matchday 9 Donyell Malen (4.8 against Cagliari) is top again. Owning Donyell Malen plus two Juventus defenders gives you a top captain option in each of the next three rounds. If you hold the Fortress chip, which doubles clean-sheet points, Juventus at Lecce on Matchday 8 is the best clean-sheet fixture of the window. You can check the bookmaker view on the Tattico market probabilities page.
Hidden gems and differentials for Matchday 7
We have no ownership data for Tattico, so these are picks most managers will overlook because of their price or club:
- Mehmet Zeki Celik (4.8m, JUV): a defender with Bremer-level projections (5.0 → 5.4 → 4.6). Program: [H]LAZ → [A]LEC → [A]GEN.
- Nicolás González (4.5m, JUV): a Juventus midfielder near the bottom of the price list, 4.2 → 4.1 → 3.5 on [H]LAZ → [A]LEC → [A]GEN.
- Mergim Vojvoda (5.5m, UDI): an attacking defender at Udinese, 5.0 this week, [H]LEC → [H]MIL → [A]PAR.
- Maduka Okoye (5.0m, UDI): a goalkeeper projecting more than the Milan and Roma keepers this round, [H]LEC → [H]MIL → [A]PAR.
- Giorgi Kvernadze (4.9m, FRC): the round's top midfielder, [H]SAS → [A]ATA → [H]LEC.

Who to sell before Matchday 7
Lautaro Martinez (11.9m, INT) is the sell. Inter's program is excellent ([A]BOL → [H]FIO → [A]VEN, the best attacking run in the league), yet he projects only 3.3 → 3.6 → 3.5, because he is projected for just 51 minutes. Why now: these three fixtures are as good as Inter's schedule gets, and Matchday 10 at Milan is harder. If he cannot reach 4 points in this run, he will not in the next one. Selling the most expensive player in the game funds Donyell Malen or Nico Paz with money to spare. Marcus Thuram (10.3m, 3.4 → 3.6 → 3.6) is the same case at a slightly lower price.
Kevin De Bruyne (8.3m, NAP) has a decent fixture at Venezia this week (3.8), so this is not a bad round for him. But Roma at home follows (3.1) in a program of [A]VEN → [H]ROM → [A]MON, and his projection never gets back to Matchday 7's level through Matchday 10 (3.8 → 3.1 → 3.4 → 2.7). The choice is selling him after a decent round or after a poor one. Sell now.
Matias Soulé (8.0m, ROM) faces the same Napoli trip as Donyell Malen, but without his upside. He projects 3.7 → 2.6 → 3.5 on [H]GEN → [A]NAP → [H]CGL, and his projected 51 minutes make the price hard to justify. Why now: the Napoli week is next, and that money does more on Donyell Malen or Gianluca Mancini before Cagliari on Matchday 9.
Domenico Berardi (7.3m, SAS) can wait a round. Sassuolo at Frosinone is a fair fixture (3.9), but Como away follows (2.7) in a program that adds up to only 0.60 expected clean sheets and 3.84 expected goals ([A]FRC → [A]COM → [H]LAZ). Keep him for this weekend and sell him before Matchday 8. Armand Laurienté (4.2 → 3.0 → 3.7) is the same case.
Plan your Matchday 7 transfers
A typical move this week: sell Lautaro Martinez and bring in Donyell Malen. That upgrades your captain and leaves money for Nico Paz's run. If you already own Donyell Malen, sell Kevin De Bruyne and use the money for Mehmet Zeki Celik or Giovanni Di Lorenzo. Check the solver's best squad for the next three rounds on the Tattico optimal teams page. More analysis is on our Tattico preview hub, and more strategy is in our fantasy guides.
