Tattico Serie A Matchday 11: captain picks, best buys
Tattico Serie A Matchday 11 preview: best buys, captain picks and differentials
Matchday 11 of Tattico Fantasy Serie A kicks off on Friday 6 November, and it is the last round before the international break. Matchday 12 follows on 21-23 November and Matchday 13 on 27-30 November. A transfer you make now has to carry you through the break and into two quick rounds after it, so the next three Matchdays are the reason to move and this round is only the moment you make the move.
Roma have the best three-Matchday program in the game, attacking and defending. Juventus, Bologna and Napoli are the other defences worth owning, and Milan have the strongest week after the break. Torino are the "sell into" team: the best clean sheet chance of this round, then a trip to Napoli. Every number below comes from our model's current projections, and the full list is on the Tattico player picks page.
The programs: whose next three Matchdays are worth owning
All 20 clubs play once in each of Matchdays 11, 12 and 13, so there are no blanks or doubles to plan around and the totals compare like for like. Roma's [H]SAS → [A]PAR → [H]MON is the run to own. It is second in attack at 5.16 expected goals and first in defence at 1.32 expected clean sheets, and there is no hard fixture anywhere in it. Sassuolo at home is also the best attacking fixture of Matchday 11: a 59% win probability and 1.84 expected goals.
Inter top the attacking column at 5.49 on [H]COM → [A]ATA → [H]GEN, and Genoa at home in Matchday 13 is the best attacking fixture of that week (2.05 expected goals). Their defence is weaker at 1.03 expected clean sheets, so Inter are an attacking team to own, not a defensive one. Milan's [A]GEN → [H]FRC → [A]CGL is third at 4.97 and 1.15. The home game against Frosinone in Matchday 12 is the best attacking fixture of that week at 2.11 expected goals.
Juventus ([A]FIO → [H]VEN → [A]COM) and Bologna ([A]PAR → [H]UDI → [A]VEN) sit second and third in defence at 1.26 and 1.25 expected clean sheets. Juventus have the best single defensive fixture after the break, a 53% clean sheet chance at home to Venezia. Napoli's [H]LAZ → [H]TOR → [A]SAS has two home games first and 1.22 expected clean sheets.

| Parma | [H]BOL | 23% | 0.81 | 28% | [H]BOL → [H]ROM → [A]FRC | 2.52 | 0.70 |
| Lecce | [A]TOR | 18% | 0.75 | 24% | [A]TOR → [A]LAZ → [H]ATA | 2.38 | 0.65 |
Torino are the team whose good week hides a weaker run. They host Lecce with a 47% clean sheet chance, the best of Matchday 11, then go to Napoli and finish at 1.00 expected clean sheets over three. Como are the opposite: [A]INT is the hardest week of the round (a 25% win probability), and [H]CGL → [H]JUV after it is much better. At the bottom, Lecce (2.38 expected goals), Parma (2.52) and Genoa (2.83) have the weakest three-Matchday attacks. Fixture dates are on the Tattico schedule, and the odds behind these numbers are on the market probabilities page. For how we turn odds into a fixture rating, see our fixture difficulty guide.
Matchday 11 best buys: goalkeepers
Guglielmo Vicario (6.1m, JUV) is the keeper to own through the break. On [A]FIO → [H]VEN → [A]COM he projects 4.4 → 5.2 → 3.9, 13.5 over three Matchdays and the best in the position. His six-Matchday weighted score of 16.6 also leads every goalkeeper, because he projects 5.2 again in Matchday 14. Buy him once and leave the position alone.
Lukasz Skorupski (4.8m, BOL) is the value pick. Bologna's [A]PAR → [H]UDI → [A]VEN gives him 4.6 → 4.5 → 4.1, which is 13.2 over three, only 0.3 behind Vicario for 1.3m less. Bologna carry a 44% clean sheet chance at Parma, the second best of the round. Mike Maignan (6.0m, MIL) is the steadiest of the three at 4.2 → 4.3 → 4.4 (12.9) on [A]GEN → [H]FRC → [A]CGL, and he adds 5.1 in Matchday 14.
This is where this round and the program disagree. Lucas Perri (5.0m, TOR) has the top goalkeeper projection of Matchday 11 at 4.8 against Lecce, but [A]NAP drops him to 3.1 and he totals 11.8 over three. If you are buying one keeper and keeping him, buy Vicario or Skorupski. Pierluigi Gollini (4.6m, ROM) also projects 4.6 this round, but Mile Svilar is expected back on 17 November, before Matchday 12, and Gollini then falls to 2.2. He is a one-Matchday keeper only.
David De Gea (4.7m, FIO) is the hidden gem. His [H]JUV → [A]MON → [A]UDI runs 3.7 → 3.8 → 4.1, and it keeps rising to 4.6 and 4.5 in Matchdays 14 and 15. His weighted score of 14.5 is fourth among goalkeepers, ahead of Perri and Carnesecchi, and he costs 1.4m less than Vicario.
Matchday 11 best buys: defenders
Gleison Bremer (6.9m, JUV) has the best defender program in the game. [A]FIO → [H]VEN → [A]COM gives 4.6 → 5.5 → 3.9, 14.0 over three, and his weighted six-Matchday score of 17.1 is the highest of any player in Tattico. Pierre Kalulu (6.1m, JUV) is 0.8m cheaper on the same [A]FIO → [H]VEN → [A]COM at 4.5 → 5.5 → 3.9 (13.9, weighted 17.0). Jhon Lucumi (4.5m, JUV) is the cheaper way into the same defence, projecting 4.1 → 4.8 → 3.5 (12.4) on that run. Pair one of them with Vicario and you double up on the same clean sheets, with the Venezia game after the break the week it pays most.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo (5.6m, NAP) is the best mid-priced defender. Napoli's [H]LAZ → [H]TOR → [A]SAS gives him 4.7 → 4.9 → 4.2 (13.8), third in the position, and he projects 5.4 in Matchday 14. With 0.06 expected assists on top of Napoli's 42% clean sheet chance this round, he is the defender to buy now and hold. Strahinja Pavlovic (7.0m, MIL) is close behind at 4.5 → 4.8 → 4.4 (13.7) on [A]GEN → [H]FRC → [A]CGL, one of the flattest programs among the top defenders, and he adds 5.1 in Matchday 14.
Nadir Zortea (4.4m, BOL) is the best-value defender in the game. On [A]PAR → [H]UDI → [A]VEN he projects 4.6 → 4.6 → 4.3, 13.5 over three, fifth in the position for the lowest price of the top ten. Arthur Theate (5.5m, BOL) plays [A]PAR → [H]UDI → [A]VEN at 4.5 → 4.6 → 4.3 (13.4). Bologna defenders are the cheapest way to hold a good defence through Matchday 13.
Round and program disagree in defence too. Saul Coco (5.0m, TOR) has the top projection of any player this round at 5.0, and Pietro Comuzzo, Rafik Belghali and Ardian Ismajli (all 4.5m) follow at 4.7-4.8. Then Torino go to Napoli and all four drop to 2.9-3.1. Saul Coco totals 12.1 over three Matchdays, almost two points behind Bremer, Kalulu and Di Lorenzo. Buy a Torino defender only as a one-Matchday play and plan the sale after it.
Nuno Tavares (5.8m, LAZ) is a hold, and a buy if you have a spare transfer. [A]NAP is his hard week at 3.4, but [H]LEC → [A]TOR follows at 5.5 → 4.0 (12.9 in total), and 5.5 shares the top projection of Matchday 12. The cheaper hidden gem in the same defence is Romano Floriani (4.7m, LAZ): 3.2 → 5.2 → 3.7 (12.1) on [A]NAP → [H]LEC → [A]TOR, with Lazio's 49% clean sheet chance against Lecce in Matchday 12 the second best of that week. The deepest-value defender is Radu Dragusin (3.9m, FIO) at 3.5 → 3.6 → 3.8 (10.9) on [H]JUV → [A]MON → [A]UDI, a rising program for the cheapest price on this list.
Matchday 11 best buys: midfielders
Federico Bernardeschi (6.0m, BOL) has the best midfield program in the game: 4.1 → 4.5 → 4.0 on [A]PAR → [H]UDI → [A]VEN. That is 12.6 over three Matchdays, ahead of every midfielder however expensive, and 4.1 is also the top midfield projection of this round. His 0.24 expected goals and 0.16 expected assists at Parma is the best attacking output in Bologna's midfield.
Matias Soulé (8.1m, ROM) is the mid-premium way into the best program in the game. [H]SAS → [A]PAR → [H]MON gives him 4.0 → 3.7 → 3.7 (11.4), second in the position, with no hard fixture in it. Charles De Ketelaere (7.3m, ATA) is third at 3.8 → 3.5 → 4.0 (11.3) on [A]MON → [H]INT → [A]LEC. He has 79 predicted minutes this round, more than any other premium midfielder here, and Lecce away in Matchday 13 is his best week.
Christian Pulisic (9.1m, MIL) follows Milan's rising program: [A]GEN → [H]FRC → [A]CGL gives him 3.5 → 4.2 → 3.4 (11.1). Our model has him at 57 minutes this round, and his best week is the one after the break. If you are buying him to hold, this is the moment. Scott McTominay (8.6m, NAP) is Napoli's penalty taker and projects 3.7 → 3.7 → 3.4 (10.8) on [H]LAZ → [H]TOR → [A]SAS, then 4.0 in Matchday 14.
The budget picks come from Bologna and Atalanta. Lewis Ferguson (4.3m, BOL) projects 3.2 → 3.4 → 3.2 (9.8) on [A]PAR → [H]UDI → [A]VEN with 82 predicted minutes, the best three-Matchday return per million in midfield. Éderson (4.5m, ATA) is the alternative at 3.2 → 2.9 → 3.5 (9.6) on [A]MON → [H]INT → [A]LEC, with 85 predicted minutes.
Hidden gems for Matchday 11
Giorgi Kvernadze (5.3m, FRC) is the midfielder few will look at. Frosinone's [A]CGL → [A]MIL → [H]PAR gives him 3.6 → 3.0 → 4.2, 10.8 over three Matchdays. That matches McTominay and Nico Paz for well under two-thirds of the price, and Parma at home in Matchday 13 is his best week. Giacomo Calo (5.2m, FRC) is the other way in: he is Frosinone's penalty taker and projects 3.6 → 2.9 → 4.1 (10.6) on the same [A]CGL → [A]MIL → [H]PAR, with 0.19 expected assists this round.
Franco Mastantuono (6.6m, FIO) is the buy-ahead pick. [H]JUV makes Matchday 11 his weakest week at 3.0, then [A]MON → [A]UDI lifts him to 3.6 → 3.9, and he projects 4.0 in Matchday 14. If you have a spare transfer this week, buying him now gets him in before his good run; otherwise he is a strong target for Matchday 12.
Matchday 11 best buys: forwards
Donyell Malen (10.8m, ROM) is the forward to own. [H]SAS → [A]PAR → [H]MON gives 4.3 → 3.9 → 4.0, a forward-best 12.2 over three Matchdays, and 4.3 is also the top forward projection of this round. He is Roma's penalty taker, and his 0.47 expected goals against Sassuolo is the highest of any player in the game. He is projected for 60 minutes this round, so check the Tattico predicted lineups before the deadline.
The round and the program barely separate the top two forwards, so price decides it. Goncalo Ramos (8.3m, MIL) projects 3.8 → 4.6 → 3.7 (12.1) on [A]GEN → [H]FRC → [A]CGL, only 0.1 behind Malen for 2.5m less. His 4.6 against Frosinone is the top forward projection of Matchday 12, he has 80 predicted minutes this round, and he adds 4.2 in Matchday 14. If you are making one forward move and keeping him, Ramos is the value buy and Malen the premium one.
Marcus Thuram (10.8m, INT) is a hold rather than a buy. He projects 3.8 → 3.5 → 3.9 (11.2) on [H]COM → [A]ATA → [H]GEN, and his 11.6 across Matchdays 14 to 16 is the best long run of any forward. If you own him, keep him. If you do not, Ramos gives you more over the next three Matchdays for 2.5m less. Randal Kolo Muani (7.2m, JUV) is the mid-price option on Juventus's [A]FIO → [H]VEN → [A]COM: 3.5 → 4.1 → 3.0 (10.6), with the Venezia game after the break the week to have him.
The budget forward is Akor Adams (4.1m, VEN). On [H]UDI → [A]JUV → [H]BOL he projects 3.6 → 2.3 → 3.0 (8.9), with 0.32 expected goals and 78 predicted minutes against Udinese. That is the best three-Matchday return per million among forwards. He is a cheap enabler rather than a points pick, and his best week is this one.
Matchday 11 captain picks
Defenders top the projections again, so the captaincy call is close. Saul Coco (5.0m, TOR) has the highest projection of any player at 5.0, at home to Lecce with Torino's 47% clean sheet chance, the best of the round. He is the model's number one captain for Matchday 11, but his program [H]LEC → [A]NAP → [H]LAZ makes him a captain for this week, not a long hold. Giovanni Di Lorenzo (5.6m, NAP) is the alternative at 4.7, and on [H]LAZ → [H]TOR → [A]SAS he is also a hold for the next two Matchdays. If you prefer an attacker's ceiling, Malen (4.3) against Sassuolo is the pick: the highest expected goals in the game, and he takes Roma's penalties.
Plan ahead as well. Bremer, Kalulu and Tavares share the top projection of Matchday 12 at 5.5, so a Juventus defender is the strongest captain path after the break, which is one more reason to own Bremer or Kalulu now. Matchday 13 is flatter, with Marco Carnesecchi (5.6m, ATA) on top at 4.5 at Lecce. For the reasoning behind captain choices, see our captaincy guide.
Who to sell before Matchday 11
Lautaro Martinez (11.3m, INT) is the clearest sell, and the time is now. Inter's [H]COM → [A]ATA → [H]GEN is the best attacking run in the game, but he is out until 17 November, so he projects zero in Matchday 11. When he returns after the break our model has him at 32 minutes and 2.1 in Matchday 12, then 2.6. Holding him means another blank week for the most expensive player in the game, and the money goes straight into Malen or Ramos.
Nick Woltemade (9.0m, JUV) is a minutes call, not a fixture call. Juventus's [A]FIO → [H]VEN → [A]COM is a good program, but our model has him at 36 minutes this round, and he projects 2.0 → 2.3 → 1.8. Kolo Muani plays the same fixtures at 3.5 → 4.1 → 3.0 for 1.8m less. Sell now, because Juventus's best week, Venezia at home, is the first one after the break, and you want the switch done before it.
Thomas Kristensen (4.7m, ATA) and Moise Kean (4.2m, COM) are both out until 17 November and project zero this round. Atalanta's [A]MON → [H]INT → [A]LEC and Como's [A]INT → [H]CGL → [H]JUV pass them by, because neither comes back as a starter: Kristensen projects 0.6 and 1.1 after his return and Kean 1.7 and 1.5. There is no good week coming to sell into. Zortea is the like-for-like defender swap, and Akor Adams the cheap forward one. Kenan Yildiz (6.4m, JUV) is out until 6 December and projects zero through Matchday 13, so Juventus's [A]FIO → [H]VEN → [A]COM passes him by and the same logic applies.
Two sells are next week's job, not this week's. Gollini owners should play him against Sassuolo and sell after it, because Svilar's return takes his minutes from Matchday 12. Torino defenders bought for this round should go after the Lecce game for the same reason: [A]NAP is next. You can wait a round on both. For a full squad built for this round, see the Tattico optimal teams. Last round's picks are in our Tattico Serie A Matchday 10 preview, and every round is collected on the Tattico preview hub.
