Super Manager Runde 13: captain picks and best buys
Super Manager Runde 13 preview: best buys, captain picks and who to sell
Super Manager Runde 13 opens on Friday 30 October with Lyngby hosting Randers FC and closes on Monday with Sønderjyske against FC København. All twelve Superliga clubs play once, so there are no blanks to plan around, and five rounds remain in the autumn game. That makes this round less about one weekend and more about which programs to own for the run-in: FC København have the strongest three-round run in attack, AGF have the best defensive run but it only starts in Runde 14, and Silkeborg turn the corner after a tough trip to OB.
The short version: Mohamed Elyounoussi (8.7m, FCK) is the captain for this round and for every round after it, on a [A]SØN → [H]BIF → [A]FCN program that is the best attacking run in the game. The places in your squad where rank is won are the cheaper ones: a Silkeborg defender and midfielder whose best fixtures are the next two, an OB attacker with three decent games in a row, and a Lyngby forward who is a clean one- or two-round rotation. Compare every option on the Super Manager player picks page.
Runde 13 programs: whose next three rounds are worth owning
The table ranks every club by its expected goals over Runde 13-15, with this round's fixture shown first. The three right-hand columns are the reason to buy; the first four only tell you when the buy starts paying.
| Team | Runde 13 fixture | Win probability | Expected goals | Clean sheet | Program (Runde 13-15) | 3-round xG | 3-round CS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FC København | [A]SØN | 57% | 2.15 | 29% | [A]SØN → [H]BIF → [A]FCN | 5.83 | 0.84 |
| FC Midtjylland | [A]FCN | 34% | 1.56 | 17% | [A]FCN → [H]SØN → [A]BIF | 5.36 | 0.61 |
| OB | [H]SIF | 51% | 1.99 | 25% | [H]SIF → [H]VFF → [A]SØN | 5.31 | 0.68 |
| AGF | [A]BIF | 36% | 1.41 | 24% | [A]BIF → [H]ACH → [H]LYN | 5.23 | 1.15 |
| Viborg | [H]ACH | 53% | 1.75 | 35% | [H]ACH → [A]OB → [H]RAN | 4.64 | 0.81 |
| Nordsjælland | [H]FCM | 42% | 1.75 | 21% | [H]FCM → [A]RAN → [H]FCK | 4.45 | 0.65 |
| Brøndby IF | [H]AGF | 37% | 1.43 | 24% | [H]AGF → [A]FCK → [H]FCM | 4.41 | 0.62 |
| Silkeborg | [A]OB | 26% | 1.38 | 14% | [A]OB → [H]LYN → [A]ACH | 4.34 | 0.68 |
| Sønderjyske | [H]FCK | 21% | 1.24 | 12% | [H]FCK → [A]FCM → [H]OB | 4.21 | 0.41 |
| Randers FC | [A]LYN | 27% | 1.34 | 15% | [A]LYN → [H]FCN → [A]VFF | 3.96 | 0.66 |
| Lyngby | [H]RAN | 49% | 1.88 | 26% | [H]RAN → [A]SIF → [A]AGF | 3.81 | 0.63 |
| AC Horsens | [A]VFF | 22% | 1.06 | 17% | [A]VFF → [A]AGF → [H]SIF | 3.34 | 0.56 |
FC København top the table on [A]SØN → [H]BIF → [A]FCN at 5.83 expected goals, and this round is the best of the three: a 57% win probability and 2.15 expected goals in Sønderjyske, both the highest numbers of the round. The Brøndby IF home game is the one to plan around, not to avoid. FC København have allowed 1.10 xG a game in the Superliga this season with a +0.53 non-penalty xG difference, which is why their defenders hold value even in the harder weeks.
OB have the quietest good program in the game: [H]SIF → [H]VFF → [A]SØN, 5.31 expected goals and three fixtures that are all at least decent. Nothing in it is spectacular, which is exactly what makes OB players holds rather than rotations.
AGF are the defensive story. [A]BIF → [H]ACH → [H]LYN adds up to 1.15 expected clean sheets, comfortably the best in the game, but the first of the three is the weak one: a 36% win probability at Brøndby IF. The two home games against AC Horsens and Lyngby are what you buy, so AGF are a Runde 14 move, not a Runde 13 one.
Viborg carry the round's best clean-sheet chance at 35% against AC Horsens, and [H]ACH → [A]OB → [H]RAN keeps them at 0.81 expected clean sheets over three, the third-best run. Viborg have conceded only 1.08 xG a game this season. Lyngby are the opposite shape: [H]RAN → [A]SIF → [A]AGF starts with a 49% win probability at home and then goes on the road twice. Lyngby players are one-round buys and should be sold as one.

Best goalkeepers for Runde 13
Diant Ramaj (5.7m, FCK) is the premium keeper and the steadiest one: 72k this round on [A]SØN → [H]BIF → [A]FCN, then 62k and 58k, 193k over the three rounds and the highest of any goalkeeper. If you already own the FC København attack, mind the four-players-per-club cap before you add him.
Kasper Kiilerich (3.8m, VFF) is the value pick. Viborg's 35% clean-sheet chance against AC Horsens is the best of the round, so he projects 67k now on [H]ACH → [A]OB → [H]RAN and 171k over three, almost as much as Ramaj for 1.9m less. At 16.9% he is already a popular choice, and the program supports keeping him.
Viljar Myhra (4.0m, OB) is the hidden gem at 1.6% ownership: 59k → 52k → 51k on [H]SIF → [H]VFF → [A]SØN, a flat program that means you can buy him and stop thinking about the position. Jesper Hansen (5.2m, AGF) has the second-best three-round total among keepers (175k), but his trajectory runs 45k → 62k → 68k on [A]BIF → [H]ACH → [H]LYN, so he is a buy for Runde 14 rather than now. On a tight budget, Diego Kochen (2.8m, LYN) projects 59k in the Randers game, but [H]RAN → [A]SIF → [A]AGF drops him to 31k by Runde 15, so he is strictly a one-round pick.
Best defenders for Runde 13
Felix Beijmo (5.4m, FCK) is the top defender of the round at 74k and the top defender over the next three at 192k, on [A]SØN → [H]BIF → [A]FCN. His trajectory is 74k → 63k → 56k and back up to 63k and 74k in Runde 16-17, so he is a hold for the rest of the autumn rather than a rotation. Runar Robinsønn Norheim (4.6m, FCN) is the other template defender at 41.9% ownership: 68k against FC Midtjylland, then a dip to 46k when FC København visit in Runde 15 on [H]FCM → [A]RAN → [H]FCK, and 77k in Runde 17. Keep him.
Asger Sørensen (5.1m, FCK) is the cheaper way into the same defence at 4.1% ownership: 64k → 53k → 48k on [A]SØN → [H]BIF → [A]FCN, 165k over three. He is the natural upgrade for anyone holding one of the rotating FC København defenders (see the sell section).
Jens Martin Gammelby (3.8m, SIF) is the best value defender on the horizon and the clearest example of a program that turns. He projects 58k at OB, then 68k and 66k on [A]OB → [H]LYN → [A]ACH: 191k over three, one point behind Beijmo for 1.6m less. He is also Silkeborg's first-choice penalty taker. The buy has to be in before the Lyngby and AC Horsens games, which is why it is this round and not next.
Marcus McCoy (3.6m, OB) brings OB's steady run into the back line: 60k → 49k → 46k on [H]SIF → [H]VFF → [A]SØN, 155k over three at 3.7% ownership. Among cheap defenders, Oliver Bundgaard Kristensen (2.7m, VFF) returns 21.8k per million this round on [H]ACH → [A]OB → [H]RAN, and only two cheaper defenders beat that. But the round ranking and the three-round ranking disagree here: Bundgaard Kristensen matches Gammelby this round (58k each) and then falls 56k behind him over three rounds. If you are buying one cheap defender and keeping him, buy Gammelby.
Daniel Gretarsson (2.6m, AGF) is the budget way into AGF's clean-sheet run: 31k → 50k → 62k on [A]BIF → [H]ACH → [H]LYN. Like every AGF pick he is a buy for Runde 14, and at his price the timing barely matters. Full starting XIs are on the Super Manager predicted lineups page.
Best midfielders for Runde 13
Mohamed Elyounoussi (8.7m, FCK) needs little introduction at 55.6% ownership. He projects 117k this round and 302k over three on [A]SØN → [H]BIF → [A]FCN, takes FC København's penalties, and has produced 0.69 xG plus xA per 90 minutes across 18 games since July (11 goals, 5 assists). He is the one premium nobody should be without.
Robert (6.4m, FCK) is the second-best midfielder on both measures: 95k → 77k → 69k on [A]SØN → [H]BIF → [A]FCN, 240k over three, and 0.47 xGI per 90 since July. With Mohamed Elyounoussi and Robert you have two of your four FC København places used; the remaining two are best spent on Beijmo and Ramaj or Asger Sørensen.
Simon Colyn (3.3m, LYN) is the cheapest route to a big Runde 13 score: 82k against Randers, the best points per million of any midfielder at 24.9k per million, and 0.77 xGI per 90 this season. But [H]RAN → [A]SIF → [A]AGF takes him down to 47k and then 22k. Buy him for this round only and sell him again before Runde 14.
Lucas Riisgaard (3.0m, SIF) is the better long-term version of that pick. He projects 57k at OB, then 79k against Lyngby and 62k at AC Horsens on [A]OB → [H]LYN → [A]ACH, 198k over three, fourth among all midfielders behind only Elyounoussi, Robert and Arnstad, at less than half their price. At 5.8% ownership he is a real differential, and like Gammelby he has to be bought before the good run starts.
Topi Keskinen (3.4m, OB) is the OB option in midfield: 60k → 48k → 47k on [H]SIF → [H]VFF → [A]SØN, a steady 156k at 1.6% ownership. Among the AGF midfielders, Kristian Arnstad (7.1m, AGF) projects 58k → 85k → 68k on [A]BIF → [H]ACH → [H]LYN and is on AGF's penalties, while Callum McCowatt (5.7m, AGF) climbs 50k → 69k → 75k. Both belong on your Runde 14 shortlist, not in this round's transfers.
Best forwards for Runde 13
Noah Ganaus (6.1m, OB) is the forward to own for the next three rounds. He projects 90k against Silkeborg, then 73k and 69k on [H]SIF → [H]VFF → [A]SØN: 232k, the highest three-round total of any forward. He has produced 0.46 xGI per 90 since July with 3.60 xG in 11 games, and at 10.6% ownership he is still far from the template.
Frederik Gytkjær (4.3m, LYN) is the round's top forward at 107k against Randers, and at 25.0k per million he is the best value in the whole game this round. His program is a classic rotation: 107k → 63k → 33k on [H]RAN → [A]SIF → [A]AGF. Buy him for Runde 13, keep him for Runde 14 if you have nothing better, and sell him before Runde 15. His 43k fee is small against a 107k projection.
Janni Serra (4.8m, AGF) is the AGF forward to plan for: 49k → 68k → 82k on [A]BIF → [H]ACH → [H]LYN, with 0.60 xGI per 90 this season. His trajectory is the reason to wait one round, and the reason not to wait two. Dorian Hanza (5.1m, VFF) at 25.0% ownership projects 76k against AC Horsens and 185k over three on [H]ACH → [A]OB → [H]RAN, a fine hold. If you want the cheaper Viborg attacker, Charly Horneman (4.4m, VFF) offers 70k → 53k → 51k at 6.2% ownership.
Friday Etim (6.4m, FCM) is owned by more than half the game, and the right call is to keep him. His program, [A]FCN → [H]SØN → [A]BIF, is uneven at 64k → 90k → 52k, but the Sønderjyske home game in Runde 14 gives him 90k, the highest forward projection of that round, and he projects 87k again in Runde 17.
Captain picks for Runde 13
The captain scores double in Super Manager, and this week the choice is easy.
- Mohamed Elyounoussi (8.7m, FCK): 117k projected, 234k as captain, on [A]SØN → [H]BIF → [A]FCN. He tops the projections in every one of the five remaining rounds (100k in Runde 14, 85k in Runde 15), so the captaincy plan for the rest of the autumn is one name.
- Frederik Gytkjær (4.3m, LYN): 107k on [H]RAN → [A]SIF → [A]AGF, so captain him this round only. The differential captain, owned by 2.5% of managers, for anyone chasing ground in a league.
- Robert (6.4m, FCK): 95k on [A]SØN → [H]BIF → [A]FCN. The safe alternative if you do not own Elyounoussi.
Noah Ganaus (90k) and Simon Colyn (82k) complete the top five. For Runde 14 the alternative to Elyounoussi is Friday Etim (90k against Sønderjyske), and in Runde 15 it is Janni Serra (82k against Lyngby). More on the method in our guide to picking a fantasy captain.
Who to sell before Runde 13
Elias Olafsson (5.6m, FCM) is the clearest sale. He is owned by 17.9% of managers but projects no more than 18k in any of the five remaining rounds, because Nordin Bakker is the keeper in FC Midtjylland's predicted lineup. There is no round in the run-in to wait for, so move him on now, ideally into Kiilerich or Myhra.
Birger Meling (4.7m, FCK, 8.8% owned) and Junnosuke Suzuki (4.7m, FCK, 8.1%) are on the wrong side of FC København's rotation: 37 and 34 predicted minutes, and 39k and 40k this round. FC København's best fixture of the run is this one, in Sønderjyske, so swapping either into Asger Sørensen (64k) for 0.4m more gains about 25k right away and keeps you on the FC København program.
Juho Laehteenmaeki (3.5m, FCN) is owned by 26.9% and projects 43k against FC Midtjylland. That is not a bad week, and this is not a panic sale. But [H]FCM → [A]RAN → [H]FCK drops him to 26k when FC København visit in Runde 15, and the natural replacement, Gammelby, has his two best rounds in Runde 14 and 15. Sell now and you catch both: 108k over three rounds against Gammelby's 191k, for 0.3m more.
FC Midtjylland's Stanley Iheanacho (3.9m, 27.5%) and Rasmus Kristensen (5.7m, 17.4%) are a different case: you can wait a round. Their program, [A]FCN → [H]SØN → [A]BIF, is weak this week but includes the Sønderjyske home game in Runde 14 (69k and 55k), and the drop comes after it, at Brøndby IF and FC København. Hold them for Sønderjyske and sell before Runde 15. The same logic says hold Olti Hyseni (Brøndby IF, 27.5%): he projects 41k and 29k in the next two rounds, but 61k, 64k and 68k in Runde 15-17, and selling him now would mean buying him back.
Runde 13 transfer summary
- Buy now: Gammelby and Riisgaard (Silkeborg's run starts in Runde 14), Ganaus or McCoy for OB's three decent fixtures, Asger Sørensen as the cheaper FC København defender.
- One-round rotation: Gytkjær or Colyn for the Lyngby-Randers game, sold again before Runde 15 at the latest.
- Plan for Runde 14: AGF, with Serra, Arnstad, McCowatt, Gretarsson or Jesper Hansen.
- Sell: Olafsson, Meling, Suzuki and Laehteenmaeki now; Iheanacho and Rasmus Kristensen after Runde 14.

FAQ
Who should I captain in Super Manager Runde 13?
Mohamed Elyounoussi is the captain, with 117k projected (234k doubled) in Sønderjyske. Frederik Gytkjær (107k) is the differential option and Robert (95k) the safe alternative.
Should I sell Elias Olafsson before Super Manager Runde 13?
Yes. Olafsson projects no more than 18k in any of the remaining five rounds because Nordin Bakker is in goal in FC Midtjylland's predicted lineup. Kasper Kiilerich (3.8m, 67k) and Viljar Myhra (4.0m, 59k) are cheaper replacements.
Which budget defenders are best for Super Manager Runde 13?
Jens Martin Gammelby (3.8m) is the best buy, with 191k over Runde 13-15 and Silkeborg's penalties. Oliver Bundgaard Kristensen (2.7m, 58k this round) and Marcus McCoy (3.6m, 155k over three) are the alternatives.
Best differentials for Super Manager Runde 13?
Lucas Riisgaard (3.0m, 5.8% owned, 198k over three rounds), Viljar Myhra (4.0m, 1.6%) and Frederik Gytkjær (4.3m, 2.5%, 107k this round) are the strongest low-ownership picks.
When should I buy AGF players in Super Manager?
In Runde 14. AGF's away game at Brøndby IF is the weakest of their next three, while the home games against AC Horsens and Lyngby give them 1.15 expected clean sheets over Runde 13-15, the best in the game. Janni Serra climbs from 49k to 82k across those rounds.
