FPL GW31
Survival
The aim for this gameweek should be to try and get through it unscathed. With Arsenal, Manchester City, Crystal Palace, and Wolves blanking, the points ceiling this gameweek is fairly limited. At the same time, clarity around fixtures - doubles and blanks - is soon approaching, which means we would like as much flexibility from chips and transfers as possible. We will likely know a lot more before the GW32 deadline, as the FA Cup quarters are played just before.
I will try to keep it concise and focus on a few good principles to follow this gameweek:
First priority is to field 11 players. It's unlikely to be worth hits to field the 11th player unless that is someone like Gordon or Wilson.
Avoid using transfers where possible
If you need to make transfers, prioritize to not sell Arsenal players and buy Newcastle players (Gordon, Thiaw) as these two are the most likely to double in GW33
It could be worth having a first bench in your team, especially if own players that are doubtful such as Salah (who is not a sell with current info)
Leeds and Liverpool play Brentford and Brighton, the top two teams for penalties conceded with 7 and 6 respectively. Then DCL and Salah decide to miss their penalties in the previous game, creating doubt about penalty takers... Owning both as differentials is a rollercoaster ride.
Team selection
I'll roll to 5 transfers as it stands. In case Salah is declared out of the squad, I will likely make a transfer - that could be Timber to Thiaw/Tete or Salah to Gordon most likely.

Bruno captains the side.
Good luck everyone!
