Double trouble, captain bubble?

The first double gameweek of the season is finally upon us, and we got through GW25 unscathed... until the last second, when the VAR decisions made sure Szoboszlai is not available for GW26. Luckily, it does not affect the Arsenal assets, which are the main assets this gameweek.

The big question of the week is whether you should use your triple captain, most likely on Gabriel.

Pros and cons are thrown around in the community, but I'll be very short. YES, you should triple captain Gabriel.

The uncertainty around future doubles is the main factor, as we may not even get the opportunity to use it in a double again, and the probability of a double gameweek with as high certainty of minutes, prioritization of the league, fixture combination, and player quality (in FPL terms) is simply too low.

With that out of the way, the main assets from Arsenal are Raya, Timber, Rice, and Gabriel. Do not swap any of these. If you own Saliba already, it is only Gabriel I would swap him for. Those five are the ones I would consider buying, and mostly the first 4.

How about Wolves players? I've analyzed this quite extensively, and I cannot make a good case for myself to buy them. You could consider Krejci, J. Gomes or Tolu if you have a perfect team and 5 FTs to then just swap again next week, but it's likely that getting Sarr is probably just better. If you're on Guiu, Mane could be a replacement.

Palmer and Szoboszlai - what to do?

It is so Palmer like to get 20 points out of nowhere. Congrats to owners, but this should not make you panic buy him. He has two good fixtures and probably like to play good minutes, but his underlyings have been extremely poor, and he will become a liability when GW27 has concluded.

As for Szoboszlai it's harder, as his fixtures turned better from this GW onwards. If you have a good way of keeping him in your team, I think that's good.

If you don't look no further than Ismaila Sarr. Two amazing fixtures and now on penalties with great underlying stats. The issue is, that it books another transfer before GW31, where he blanks. Although, he is a good "pitstop" before getting a Brentford mid in GW28 (Dango, I'm looking at you! Schade for the boring players). That could also be J. Gomes now and make the Brentford move a week early.

On a different note, Salah once again had acceptable underlying stats against Man City. I am staying open to swapping Haaland to Salah in GW28.

Team selection

I was hoping to roll this gameweek, but unfortunately the Szoboszlai suspension forces a move, as I am not happy with starting Andersen or Kroupi.

My move will be Szoboszlai to Ismaila Sarr and roll the other FT.

My TRIPLE CAPTAIN will be Gabriel.
