Eliteserien Fantasy Gameweek 24: captains and best buys
Eliteserien Fantasy Gameweek 24 preview: best buys, captains and differentials
In Eliteserien Fantasy Gameweek 24 the transfer you make now has to carry you through Gameweeks 24, 25 and 26. With eight rounds left, the question is not who has the best weekend but whose next three fixtures are worth owning. Two clubs stand clear of everybody else: Bodø/Glimt ([A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO) and Viking ([H]FRE → [A]BOD → [H]KFU). They meet each other in Gameweek 25, which is the one fixture to plan around rather than avoid. Below that, Lillestrøm's defence has quietly built one of the best clean-sheet runs in the league.
Every number below comes from our model's latest run. The full table is on the Eliteserien Fantasy player picks page, and our optimal Eliteserien Fantasy teams solve the best squad live for any window. Last round's thinking is in our Eliteserien Fantasy Gameweek 23 preview.
The programs: whose next three Gameweeks are worth owning
Bodø/Glimt lead the league on attacking output across Gameweeks 24-26, with 7.02 expected goals from [A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO. The trip to Hamarkameratene is one of the two best attacking fixtures of Gameweek 24 at 67% win probability and 2.62 expected goals. The Viking home game is the tough one, and the Tromsø away trip is fine. Viking are a close second at 6.75 3-round xG. Their home game against Fredrikstad is the single strongest fixture of the round (75% win probability, 2.87 expected goals), and KFUM at home in Gameweek 26 is another good one.
Defensively the picture is different. Viking (0.83 expected clean sheets over three) and Lillestrøm (0.83) top the 3-round CS column. For Lillestrøm, [A]SAN in Gameweek 24 is the weak week. [A]STA and [H]AAL behind it are two strong clean-sheet fixtures, which is why their defenders are buys for the run rather than the round. Rosenborg (0.79) and Tromsø (0.75) follow. Molde have the best clean-sheet chance of Gameweek 24 itself (40% at home to Start), but trips to Brann and Sandefjord follow.
At the bottom, Start (3.03 3-round xG), KFUM and Fredrikstad have the weakest attacking runs. Fredrikstad also collect only 0.40 expected clean sheets, so their players are hard to justify for the next month. The full fixture list is on our Eliteserien Fantasy schedule.

The table is sorted by 3-round expected goals. The 3-round CS column is the number of clean sheets the team is expected to keep across the three games, not a percentage.
Best goalkeepers for Gameweek 24
Pontus Dahlberg (4.8m, LIL) is the goalkeeper to own for the run. His program is [A]SAN → [A]STA → [H]AAL, and his projection rises across it: 3.3 → 4.1 → 4.2 (11.6 over three). That is the best 3-round total of any keeper. He is the only keeper whose two later fixtures both project above 4 points. At 21.0% ownership he is already popular, so he protects your rank more than he climbs it.
Simen Vidtun Nilsen (4.1m, BRA) is the value pick at 4.1m. Brann's program of [A]VIF → [H]MOL → [A]FRE is steady rather than spectacular, but his projection holds flat at 3.7 → 3.5 → 3.6 (10.8 over three). Only 1.2% of managers own him. Leander Øy (4.5m, S08) ([H]RBK → [H]KBK → [A]H-K) matches that 3-round total with two home games first. Arild Østbø (4.3m, VIK) ([H]FRE → [A]BOD → [H]KFU) has the third-best keeper projection of the round at 3.8, but the Gameweek 25 trip to Bodø/Glimt drops him to 2.5. He is a good pick if you plan to bench him in Gameweek 25.
Jakob Haugaard (5.1m, TRO) is owned by 32.0%. He is joint-top among keepers this round at 4.0, and [A]VIF in Gameweek 25 is fine too. The Bodø/Glimt home game in Gameweek 26 is where his projection falls to 2.6. Hold him for two more rounds; there is no need to move him now.
Best defenders for Gameweek 24
Alexander Warneryd (6.5m, TRO) is the best defender over the next two weeks: 4.9 → 4.4 → 2.6 (11.9 over three) from [H]KFU → [A]VIF → [H]BOD. The first two fixtures are good. The Bodø/Glimt game drags down the third. He is a buy for Gameweeks 24 and 25 and a sell candidate before 26.
Lars Mogstad Ranger (4.9m, LIL) is the defender for the longer run. Lillestrøm's [A]SAN → [A]STA → [H]AAL gives him 2.9 → 4.3 → 4.3 (11.5 over three), so Gameweek 24 is his weakest week and the next two are the best defensive weeks in this price range. This is where this round's ranking and the 3-round ranking disagree. Alexander Warneryd out-scores him in Gameweek 24. Lars Mogstad Ranger is the better hold from Gameweek 25 and costs 1.6m less. If you are buying one defender to keep, buy Lars Mogstad Ranger.
Adrian Pereira (5.9m, RBK) has the same shape: 3.2 → 3.5 → 4.3 (11.0 over three) from [A]S08 → [A]FRE → [H]STA, rising into a home game against Start in Gameweek 26. Fredrik Sjøvold (7.7m, BOD) is the premium Bodø/Glimt option at 4.1 → 3.3 → 3.7 (11.1 over three) from [A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO. He is owned by 36.9%, so he is the template pick rather than an edge.
Hidden gem: Sander Håvik Innvær (4.7m, TRO) is 4.7m, owned by 0.4%, and projects 4.5 in Gameweek 24. That is close to Alexander Warneryd, who costs 1.8m more. His program is [H]KFU → [A]VIF → [H]BOD. His projected minutes for Gameweek 24 are 67, so he carries some minutes risk. Treat him as a two-round pick and sell before the Bodø/Glimt game.
The other budget defender is Anders Hiim (4.6m, S08) at 4.6m. Sarpsborg 08's [H]RBK → [H]KBK → [A]H-K includes two home games. His projection is 3.0 → 4.2 → 3.0 (10.2 over three), with the peak in Gameweek 25 against Kristiansund BK.
| Player | Team | Price | Owned | GW24 xP | GW24-26 xP | Program |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alexander Warneryd | TRO | 6.5m | 31.2% | 4.9 | 11.9 | [H]KFU → [A]VIF → [H]BOD |
| Lars Mogstad Ranger | LIL | 4.9m | 16.0% | 2.9 | 11.5 | [A]SAN → [A]STA → [H]AAL |
| Adrian Pereira | RBK | 5.9m | 18.4% | 3.2 | 11.0 | [A]S08 → [A]FRE → [H]STA |
| Fredrik Sjøvold | BOD | 7.7m | 36.9% | 4.1 | 11.1 | [A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO |
| Sander Håvik Innvær | TRO | 4.7m | 0.4% | 4.5 | 10.9 | [H]KFU → [A]VIF → [H]BOD |
| Anders Hiim | S08 | 4.6m | 2.9% | 3.0 | 10.2 | [H]RBK → [H]KBK → [A]H-K |
| Kristoffer Haugen | VIK | 6.1m | 4.4% | 4.9 | 10.8 | [H]FRE → [A]BOD → [H]KFU |
Best midfielders for Gameweek 24
Ole Blomberg (9.8m, BOD) is the best midfield buy in the game over the next three. He projects 6.4 → 6.1 → 5.5 (18.0 over three) from [A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO, which is the highest 3-round total of any player. He holds above 5 points even in the Viking game. At 12.5% ownership he is also the best premium differential in the game. Why now: the Hamarkameratene trip is Bodø/Glimt's best fixture of the three, so he has to be in before Gameweek 24, not after it.
Zlatko Tripic (12.7m, VIK) is owned by 66.3% and projects 7.1 at home to Fredrikstad, the highest number in the game this round. His program is [H]FRE → [A]BOD → [H]KFU. The Bodø/Glimt away game drops him to 3.8, but [H]KFU brings him back to 6.0. Keep him. Two very good fixtures out of three is a hold.
Evangelos Patoulidis (7.1m, SAN) is the best value midfielder. Sandefjord's [H]LIL → [A]AAL → [H]MOL gives him 5.2 → 5.5 → 4.6 (15.3 over three), and his Gameweek 25 number is higher than Zlatko Tripic's. Only 4.1% own him. Jens Petter Hauge (10.4m, BOD) is the second Bodø/Glimt premium at 5.8 → 5.0 → 4.3 (15.1 over three) from the same [A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO. Ole Blomberg out-scores him in all three rounds, so he is the second Bodø/Glimt midfielder, not the first.
Sondre Sørli (6.5m, S08) at 6.5m has a rising program: 4.1 → 5.2 → 4.2 (13.5 over three) from [H]RBK → [H]KBK → [A]H-K. Two home games are first. The peak is the Kristiansund BK game. Felix Va (6.3m, LIL) is a buy from Gameweek 25 rather than now. Lillestrøm's [A]SAN → [A]STA → [H]AAL takes him from 4.0 to 5.3.
Hidden gem: Sondre Auklend (6.6m, BOD) costs 6.6m and is owned by 1.1%. He projects 5.0 in Gameweek 24, close to the 5.3 of Emil Breivik, who is owned by 45.2% and costs 0.9m more. His program is [A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO, so he is the cheapest way into Bodø/Glimt's attack.
Budget midfielders: Carl Lange (4.9m, VIF) projects 3.5 → 3.4 → 4.4 (11.3 over three) from [H]BRA → [H]TRO → [A]KBK, and peaks in Gameweek 26 against Kristiansund BK. Sander Risan (4.3m, SAN) at 4.3m projects 3.4 → 3.6 → 3.0 (10.0 over three) from [H]LIL → [A]AAL → [H]MOL and has 85 projected minutes, the most secure of the cheap options.
| Player | Team | Price | Owned | GW24 xP | GW24-26 xP | Program |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ole Blomberg | BOD | 9.8m | 12.5% | 6.4 | 18.0 | [A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO |
| Zlatko Tripic | VIK | 12.7m | 66.3% | 7.1 | 16.9 | [H]FRE → [A]BOD → [H]KFU |
| Evangelos Patoulidis | SAN | 7.1m | 4.1% | 5.2 | 15.3 | [H]LIL → [A]AAL → [H]MOL |
| Jens Petter Hauge | BOD | 10.4m | 14.8% | 5.8 | 15.1 | [A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO |
| Emil Breivik | MOL | 7.5m | 45.2% | 5.3 | 13.9 | [H]STA → [A]BRA → [A]SAN |

| Carl Lange | VIF | 4.9m | 7.6% | 3.5 | 11.3 | [H]BRA → [H]TRO → [A]KBK |
| Sander Risan | SAN | 4.3m | 4.3% | 3.4 | 10.0 | [H]LIL → [A]AAL → [H]MOL |
Best forwards for Gameweek 24
Peter Christiansen (10.6m, VIK) is the forward to own: 6.6 → 4.3 → 5.7 (16.6 over three) from [H]FRE → [A]BOD → [H]KFU, the best 3-round total in the position by over 3 points. He drops in the Bodø/Glimt game like every Viking attacker, but two strong home fixtures make up for it.
Noah Holm (7.6m, BRA) is the steadiest mid-price forward: 4.7 → 4.4 → 4.4 (13.5 over three) from [A]VIF → [H]MOL → [A]FRE, with almost no dip. A flat program like that means you can buy him and stop thinking about him for three weeks.
Hidden gem: Ola Brynhildsen (9.4m, BOD) is owned by 0.8% and projects 4.8 in Gameweek 24 on Bodø/Glimt's [A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO. His 70 projected minutes are the main risk. Oscar Forsmo Kapskarmo (5.5m, SAN) is the budget option at 5.5m with 3.8 → 4.0 → 3.3 (11.1 over three) from [H]LIL → [A]AAL → [H]MOL. That is close to the 12.4 of Daniel Seland Karlsbakk, who costs 3.2m more.
| Player | Team | Price | Owned | GW24 xP | GW24-26 xP | Program |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peter Christiansen | VIK | 10.6m | 35.5% | 6.6 | 16.6 | [H]FRE → [A]BOD → [H]KFU |
| Noah Holm | BRA | 7.6m | 17.3% | 4.7 | 13.5 | [A]VIF → [H]MOL → [A]FRE |

Best captain for Eliteserien Fantasy Gameweek 24
1. Zlatko Tripic (7.1 xP, [H]FRE) is the captain. It is the round's best fixture and the highest projection in the game.
2. Peter Christiansen (6.6 xP) is the same fixture from the forward line. He is the alternative if you prefer not to follow the crowd on Zlatko Tripic.
3. Ole Blomberg (6.4 xP, [A]H-K) is the differential captain, owned by 12.5%.
Plan ahead. In Gameweek 25, Viking go to Bodø/Glimt. Ole Blomberg (6.1) is the best captain that week and Zlatko Tripic drops to 3.8. In Gameweek 26 the Viking pair are back on top against KFUM. Owning Ole Blomberg alongside Zlatko Tripic gives you a strong captain in every one of the next three Gameweeks.
Who to sell before Gameweek 24
Leo Cornic (6.3m, BRA) is owned by 25.6% but projects just 1.8, 1.9 and 1.9, on 39 projected minutes. Brann's [A]VIF → [H]MOL → [A]FRE is a fine program. His role is the problem. Why now: nothing in his next three rounds changes that, so every week you hold him is a week of bench-level points.
Andreas Helmersen (8.7m, BOD) (24.6% owned, [A]H-K → [H]VIK → [A]TRO) projects only 26 minutes in Gameweek 24, so he is not the way into Bodø/Glimt's good run. Ola Brynhildsen is. Why now: the Hamarkameratene game is Bodø/Glimt's best attacking fixture, and his 2.2 xP there is below every other Bodø/Glimt player in this preview.
Thomas Lehne Olsen (7.9m, LIL) ([A]SAN → [A]STA → [H]AAL) is owned by 22.1% and projects 2.0 in Gameweek 24 on 39 projected minutes. Lillestrøm's program is good for defenders but not for him. Why now: nothing in the next three changes his minutes, and Oscar Forsmo Kapskarmo projects 11.1 over the same three rounds for 2.4m less.
Henrik Heggheim (6.4m, VIK) and Henrik Falchener (6.3m, VIK) are the trickier call on Viking's [H]FRE → [A]BOD → [H]KFU. [H]FRE in Gameweek 24 is a good fixture, and Henrik Heggheim projects 3.8. But [A]BOD follows and both drop below 2 (1.7 and 1.8). If you want to move one, sell after Gameweek 24 rather than before it: take the clean-sheet chance at home, then switch to Lars Mogstad Ranger or Adrian Pereira for the run from Gameweek 25. You can wait a round on this one.
