Allsvenskan Fantasy Gameweek 27: best buys and captains
Allsvenskan Fantasy Gameweek 27 preview: best buys, captain picks and differentials
Allsvenskan Fantasy Gameweek 27 is the start of the run-in. Four gameweeks are left. Gameweeks 27 and 28 come close together, from 1 to 3 November and from 6 to 8 November. Then there is a two-week gap before Gameweek 29 on 21 to 23 November, and Gameweek 30, the last of the season, is played on 29 November. So a buy made now has at most four gameweeks to pay off. This preview ranks every pick on the next three, Gameweeks 27 to 29, and adds the Gameweek 30 fixture where it changes the call. There is no Gameweek 31 behind it, so for most players the program below is the rest of their season.
The short version: Hammarby have the best run to the end of the season, Sirius and Djurgården have the best openers, and Elfsborg's assets swing hard between gameweeks. The full numbers are on our Allsvenskan Fantasy player picks page, and last week's view is in the Allsvenskan Fantasy Gameweek 26 preview.
The programs: whose last gameweeks are worth owning
Hammarby are the team to own for the run-in. [A]MFF → [H]ELF → [H]IFK gives them 6.37 expected goals and 1.12 expected clean sheets over the three gameweeks, the most clean sheets in the league. Their win probability climbs from 53% at Malmö to 63% and then 70%, and Gameweek 30 at Västerås is 64% again. No other side has four gameweeks this good in a row. They also back it up: Hammarby have averaged 2.08 xG for and 0.99 xG against a game this season, the best expected goal difference in Allsvenskan.
Sirius have the most expected goals of anyone, 6.46 over [H]HBK → [A]KFF → [H]DIF, and the opener is one of the two best fixtures of the gameweek, at 71% and 2.50 goals. The clean sheet odds fall after that, to 29% at Kalmar and 20% against Djurgården, so Sirius are an attacking target first. Djurgården start even better, 73% at home to Degerfors with a 43% clean sheet, and [A]HBK in Gameweek 28 is good too. The trip to Sirius in Gameweek 29 is the hard one, at 30%, before [H]BKH to finish.
Elfsborg are the split program. [H]ÖIS is 68% with a 43% clean sheet, and [A]BKH in Gameweek 29 is 74% and 45%. Between them sits [A]HIF at 16%. Elfsborg players are buys if you can bench them in Gameweek 28. GAIS are the quiet defensive option, with 1.11 expected clean sheets over [H]AIK → [A]DEG → [H]VÄS and a 50% clean sheet against Västerås in Gameweek 29.
The runs to avoid are Halmstads BK, with 2.95 expected goals and only 0.38 expected clean sheets over [A]SIR → [H]DIF → [A]BRO, and Degerfors, IFK Göteborg, Malmö FF and AIK. Västerås are a special case. [H]BRO this gameweek is a fair fixture at 47%, but [A]ÖIS → [A]GAI → [H]HIF follows, and their win probability falls to 27%, 15% and 14%. All sixteen teams play one match in each of the next three gameweeks, so the totals below compare like with like.
| Team | Gameweek 27 fixture | Win probability | Expected goals | Clean sheet | Program Gameweeks 27-29 | 3-gameweek xG | 3-gameweek CS |

The Allsvenskan Fantasy schedule has every fixture to the end of the season, and the market probabilities show the betting odds behind these numbers.
Gameweek 27 goalkeepers
Warner Hahn (6.0m, HIF) is the keeper to own to the end of the season. [A]MFF → [H]ELF → [H]IFK projects 4.4 → 4.6 → 4.8, then 4.8 again at Västerås in Gameweek 30. That is a rising line behind the best defence in the run-in, and 25.2% of managers already have him. If you do, there is nothing to do here.
Mergim Krasniqi (5.5m, GAI) ties Hahn on 13.8 over the three gameweeks and is owned by only 7.2%. [H]AIK → [A]DEG → [H]VÄS gives 4.4 → 4.3 → 5.1, and the Västerås game in Gameweek 29 has the best clean sheet chance of any team in that gameweek, 50%. He is 0.5m cheaper than Hahn, which is the differential pick in goal.
Jacob Rinne (6.0m, DIF) has the top Gameweek 27 score at 4.9 against Degerfors, but drops to 3.7 at Sirius in Gameweek 29, so he is a two-gameweek keeper. Here the gameweek and the program disagree: Rinne wins this week, Hahn and Krasniqi win the three.
Isak Pettersson (5.5m, ELF), owned by 18.9%, shows how to use the two goalkeeper slots. He projects 4.9 → 1.8 → 4.9 → 2.2, so he is a starter in Gameweeks 27 and 29 and a bench keeper in 28 and 30. Matvei Igonen (4.5m, DEG) fits the other weeks almost perfectly: [A]DIF → [H]GAI → [A]AIK → [H]ÖIS projects 3.4 → 4.4 → 4.1 → 4.5. Start Pettersson in 27 and 29 and Igonen in 28 and 30, and the pair gives 4.9, 4.4, 4.9 and 4.5 for 10.0m. Hampus Gustafsson (4.5m, ÖIS) is the alternative to Igonen, at 3.5 → 4.4 → 4.0.
Gameweek 27 defenders
Hampus Skoglund (6.8m, HIF) is the defender to buy and keep. [A]MFF → [H]ELF → [H]IFK projects 4.3 → 4.8 → 5.1, then 5.0 in Gameweek 30, so he gets better every week to the end of the season. He plays almost every minute, with 87 projected minutes, and 16.6% own him. Frederik Winther (6.7m, HIF) is the same buy on [A]MFF → [H]ELF → [H]IFK, at 4.2 → 4.6 → 4.9 → 4.9, and Noah Persson (7.4m, HIF) is the low-owned version at 2.7%, with 4.2 → 4.6 → 4.7 → 4.8. Remember the cap of three players per club. With Hahn, Lind and Abraham in many squads, there is often room for only one Hammarby defender.
Niklas Hult (6.3m, ELF) has the highest defender score of the gameweek, 5.7 against Örgryte, and he is the most-owned defender at 34.7%. His program is the Elfsborg split: [H]ÖIS → [A]HIF → [A]BKH gives 5.7 → 2.8 → 5.8, then 4.5 against GAIS. He has 4.24 xA this season, so he scores in attack as well as on clean sheets. Over three gameweeks Hult (14.3) and Skoglund (14.2) are level, and over the four that are left Skoglund edges it, 19.2 to 18.8. Here the gameweek and the program disagree. If you can bench Hult in Gameweek 28, he is the better owner. If you buy one defender and keep him in your XI every week, buy Skoglund.
Alexander Jensen (6.1m, ELF) is the Elfsborg differential at 2.4% ownership. He follows Hult's line over [H]ÖIS → [A]HIF → [A]BKH, 5.4 → 2.6 → 5.1, and has 3.32 xA this season. One Elfsborg defender is enough. Two of them in the same Gameweek 28 bench is a waste of a slot.
Oscar Krusnell (6.9m, SIR) is the Sirius defender for the window. [H]HBK → [A]KFF → [H]DIF projects 5.5 → 4.5 → 4.0, and 4.6 at IFK Göteborg in Gameweek 30. His line falls, but every week stays solid, and his 3.30 xA give him a floor when Sirius concede. The cheaper Sirius defenders, Henrik Castegren (5.0m, SIR) at 4.8 → 4.0 → 3.6 over the same [H]HBK → [A]KFF → [H]DIF and Tobias Anker (5.2m, SIR) at 4.9 → 4.1 → 3.7, are the budget way into the Halmstad game and are worth holding for 28.5% and 17.5% of managers.
Adam Ståhl (6.3m, DIF) projects 5.2 against Degerfors, but [A]HBK → [A]SIR takes him to 3.8 and 2.6, so he is a one-gameweek defender, and that is a poor use of a single free transfer.
The budget defender with a rising program is Oliver Zandén (5.0m, BRO). [A]VÄS → [H]MJA → [H]HBK gives 3.5 → 4.0 → 4.9, and he has 4.29 xA and five assists this season. Brommapojkarna's 39% clean sheet against Halmstads BK in Gameweek 29 is the reason. His Gameweek 27 is the weak week, so he works best as a Gameweek 28 buy. Mikael Dyrestam (4.3m, ÖIS) is the same idea even cheaper, at 2.8 → 4.4 → 3.9.
Gameweek 27 midfielders
Isak Bjerkebo (9.2m, SIR) has the best three-gameweek total in the game, 18.1. [H]HBK → [A]KFF → [H]DIF projects 6.9 → 5.7 → 5.5, then 5.0 at IFK Göteborg. He is Sirius's penalty taker, has 14 goals and six assists this season, and his 0.76 xGI per 90 is the best of any regular starter in this preview. 60.1% own him, so he protects your rank rather than gaining you ground. Keep him.
Bo Åsulv Hegland (8.4m, DIF) is the other must-own. [H]DEG → [A]HBK → [A]SIR gives 7.0 → 5.8 → 4.7, and he finishes with 6.7 at home to Häcken in Gameweek 30. His 9.05 xA and 15 assists this season are the most in the league. The Sirius trip is the one weak week, and it falls in the gameweek you can most easily plan around. 54.3% own him.
Victor Lind (11.0m, HIF) is the steady premium. [A]MFF → [H]ELF → [H]IFK projects 5.2 → 5.6 → 5.4, then 5.4 again at Västerås. He has nine goals and 12 assists from 6.70 xG and 6.56 xA. Lind does not beat Bjerkebo or Hegland this gameweek, but he is the only one of the three whose line stays flat to the end. For the 66.9% who do not own him, he is the strongest buy if you can fund him.
Montader Madjed (8.8m, HIF) is the cheaper Hammarby midfielder at 7.3% ownership: [A]MFF → [H]ELF → [H]IFK → [A]VÄS projects 4.2 → 4.6 → 4.6 → 4.6. He has 4.58 xG and 5.20 xA this season. Frank Junior Adjei (5.8m, HIF) is the hidden gem, owned by only 0.7%. He projects 4.1 → 4.3 → 4.0 → 4.1 on the same Hammarby run, and his 0.50 xGI per 90 is better than Madjed's.
Mads Kristian Hansen (7.3m, BRO) is the differential whose line rises. [A]VÄS → [H]MJA → [H]HBK gives 3.9 → 4.1 → 4.8. He is Brommapojkarna's penalty taker, has eight goals and seven assists, and is owned by 6.3%.
For budget midfielders, Marcus Lindberg (5.8m, SIR) gets you into Sirius's program for 5.8m. [H]HBK → [A]KFF → [H]DIF projects 4.6 → 4.1 → 4.0, then 4.0 in Gameweek 30, on 85 projected minutes, with seven assists this season. Julius Magnusson (5.2m, ELF) has the best points per million over the three gameweeks of any midfielder who starts. His line is the Elfsborg split, [H]ÖIS → [A]HIF → [A]BKH at 4.5 → 3.2 → 4.5, so he suits a squad that can bench him in Gameweek 28. Melker Heier (4.8m, SIR), at 3.9 → 3.4 → 3.4, is the cheapest Sirius starter.
Julius Lindberg (8.8m, BKH), owned by 17.4%, is worth keeping for two more weeks. [H]IFK → [A]AIK gives 4.5 → 5.3, then Häcken host Elfsborg in Gameweek 29 with only a 9% win chance and he drops to 2.7. That makes him a sell before Gameweek 29, not before this one.
Gameweek 27 forwards
Paulos Abraham (10.6m, HIF) is the forward to own to the end of the season. [A]MFF → [H]ELF → [H]IFK projects 4.7 → 5.0 → 4.7, then 4.8 at Västerås. He has 14 goals from 13.21 xG this season, the most xG in the league. Kristian Lien (10.3m, DIF) is the better pick for this gameweek, at 5.3 against Degerfors. He is Djurgården's penalty taker and has 16 goals from 12.79 xG. But [A]HBK → [A]SIR drops him to 4.3 and 3.5. Lien wins Gameweek 27, Abraham wins the three, 14.4 to 13.1. If you can only have one of them, have Abraham. If you already own Lien, keep him for the Degerfors game and think again before Gameweek 29.
Gustav Lindgren (8.4m, BKH), owned by 20.6%, is a two-gameweek hold. [H]IFK → [A]AIK gives 4.1 → 4.8, and he has 13 goals from 10.96 xG this season. After that comes Elfsborg at home at 2.4. You can wait a gameweek on him. Plan to move him on before Gameweek 29.
The forward position is thin below 8m. Leo Oestman (6.2m, ELF) projects 3.3 → 2.4 → 3.7 on 61 projected minutes, and Ludvig Arvidsson (4.4m, HBK) is a bench forward at 2.3 → 2.4 → 2.3. A three-forward squad usually pays for Abraham and one of Lien or Lindgren, and keeps the third slot cheap.
Captaincy for Allsvenskan Fantasy Gameweek 27
The captain armband doubles a player's points, and this week it is a very close call between the two most-owned players in the game.
- Bo Åsulv Hegland (8.4m, DIF): [H]DEG → [A]HBK → [A]SIR, 7.0 this week, the top score of the gameweek. Djurgården have a 73% win chance and 2.50 expected goals, the best fixture of the gameweek.
- Isak Bjerkebo (9.2m, SIR): [H]HBK → [A]KFF → [H]DIF, 6.9 this week. Sirius also have 2.50 expected goals and he takes the penalties. If you do not own Hegland, Bjerkebo is your captain, and he is only 0.1 behind.
- Niklas Hult (6.3m, ELF): [H]ÖIS → [A]HIF → [A]BKH, 5.7 this week. He is the third choice, well behind the top two, and is for a manager who owns neither of them.
The armband is a plan across the run-in. Hegland is also the top captain in Gameweek 28 (5.8, with Bjerkebo on 5.7 and Lind on 5.6). In Gameweek 29 Hult is top at 5.8, ahead of Bjerkebo (5.5) and Lind (5.4). In Gameweek 30, Hegland's 6.7 against Häcken is the highest captain score left in the season. So owning both Hegland and Bjerkebo covers the armband in all four gameweeks.
Who to sell before Gameweek 27
Nahir Besara (13.1m, HIF) is still the clearest sale, and 28.7% of managers still own him. He is projected for only 25 minutes at Malmö, and his line over [A]MFF → [H]ELF → [H]IFK is 1.9 → 2.2 → 3.2. His rate when he plays is still high, 0.70 xGI per 90. Why now: no gameweek left in the season lifts him above 3.2, so there is no better week to sell him than this one. His price funds Lind, Hegland or Bjerkebo, and puts that money into a player who starts.
Victor Eriksson (6.3m, HIF), owned by 16.6%, is projected for 28 minutes and 1.4 → 1.5 → 2.7 over [A]MFF → [H]ELF → [H]IFK. Why now: Hammarby's run is the best in the league, and a defender who does not start is not part of it. Skoglund, Winther or Persson are the like-for-like swaps on the same program. Axel Norén (6.2m, MJA), 12.2%, is projected for 51 minutes and 2.2 → 2.0 → 3.0 over [H]KFF → [A]BRO → [H]MFF. Why now: Gameweek 27 is not his best week, but there is no week ahead good enough to wait for.
Herman Magnusson (4.6m, VÄS) is owned by 31.8%, and here the timing matters more than the fixture. [H]BRO is a fair game for him: 47% win, 28% clean sheet, 4.2 projected, so this is not a bad week. But [A]ÖIS → [A]GAI → [H]HIF follows, and he drops to 3.6, 3.3 and 3.0. Play him this week and sell before Gameweek 28. The same goes for Axel Taonsa (6.0m, VÄS), 4.8 now and 3.6 → 2.7 after. You can wait one gameweek on both, because their best remaining fixture is this one.

- FWD: Kristian Lien (10.3m, DIF), 5.3
That XI projects 60.9 points, or 67.9 with Hegland's captaincy. The bench is Elis Jaeger (VÄS), Julius Magnusson (ELF), Leo Oestman (ELF) and Ludvig Arvidsson (HBK). For the exact solve against your own squad, use our optimal teams for Allsvenskan Fantasy.

Bo Åsulv Hegland is the top captain at 7.0 projected points at home to Degerfors, where Djurgården have a 73% win chance. Isak Bjerkebo is a very close second at 6.9 against Halmstads BK, and is the captain if you do not own Hegland.
Which defenders are best for Allsvenskan Fantasy Gameweek 27?
Niklas Hult has the top Gameweek 27 score at 5.7, but drops to 2.8 at Hammarby in Gameweek 28. Hampus Skoglund is the defender to buy and keep, at 4.3 → 4.8 → 5.1 → 5.0 over the last four gameweeks. Oliver Zandén at 5.0m is the budget pick whose line rises to 4.9 in Gameweek 29.
