RSL Fantasy 2026/27: Predicted Points, Best Players & Optimal Team

RSL Fantasy is the official fantasy game of the Roshn Saudi League - a 15-player squad, a 100.0m budget and 34 gameweeks of Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, Al Ahli and the rest of the Saudi Pro League. TheFantasyTool gives you the data edge: model-predicted points (pP) for every player in the competition, an optimal-team calculator, predicted line-ups and odds-based fixture difficulty, all built on the same engine behind our FPL and Champions League tools.

RSL Fantasy scores far more granularly than FPL - tackles won, successful passes, shots on target, big chances created and defensive actions all pay points, each on its own per-position threshold. That rewards a very different kind of player, and it is why picking on reputation costs you more here than in almost any other game we cover. Every number on this site is converted into the RSL scoring system first, so two players are always directly comparable.

Your RSL Fantasy toolkit

Every tool below runs on the same projection model: expected goals, expected assists, predicted minutes and clean-sheet probability derived from live match odds, then converted into RSL Fantasy points.

How RSL Fantasy scoring works

The headline scoring is close to FPL but not identical: a forward's goal is worth 5 points (FPL pays 4), a goalkeeper clean sheet is 5 (FPL 4), saves pay a point per 2 rather than per 3, and a goalkeeper loses a point for every goal conceded after the first rather than per two.

The real difference is the granular per-action scoring, and every one of those has a per-position threshold. A defender banks a point for every 2 shots on target and for every big chance he creates, where a midfielder or forward needs 3 shots on target and 2 big chances. Everyone outfield gets a point per 40 successful passes and per 6 defensive actions. High-volume, low-glamour players are therefore much better value here than their price suggests, which is exactly what a projection model is for.

Squad rules, budget and transfers

Your squad is 15 players - 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards - with a maximum of three from any one club, and you start 11 of them each gameweek. The budget is 100.0m, and selling a player who has risen in price costs a 50% fee on the profit.

You get one free transfer a gameweek and can bank up to five. Each transfer beyond your free ones costs 4 points. There are two wildcards across the season - one usable up to gameweek 18 and a second from gameweek 20 - alongside the game's single-use team chips, and our team planner will price any transfer plan against predicted points before you play one.

Frequently asked questions

What is RSL Fantasy?

RSL Fantasy is the official fantasy football game of the Roshn Saudi League. You pick a 15-player squad inside a 100.0m budget, start 11 each gameweek, captain one for double points, and score from your players' real performances across the 34-gameweek Saudi Pro League season.

Who are the best RSL Fantasy players right now?

Our player picks page ranks every player in the league by predicted points for the coming gameweek, built from expected goals, expected assists, predicted minutes and clean-sheet probability rather than last week's score. The table on this page shows the current top of that ranking.

How is RSL Fantasy scoring different from FPL?

Forwards score 5 for a goal instead of 4, goalkeepers get 5 for a clean sheet instead of 4, and saves pay per 2 rather than per 3. The bigger difference is granular scoring: tackles won, successful passes, shots on target, big chances created and defensive actions all pay points on per-position thresholds, which makes high-volume defenders and midfielders much better value than in FPL.

How many transfers do you get in RSL Fantasy?

One free transfer per gameweek, which you can bank up to a maximum of five. Every transfer beyond your free ones costs 4 points. You also get two wildcards across the season - one usable in the first half, one in the second - which make transfers unlimited for that gameweek.

How do I build the best RSL Fantasy team?

Rank players by predicted points rather than name, then let the optimal team calculator solve the budget: it returns the highest-scoring legal 15 inside 100.0m with no more than three players per club. Because the game pays for tackles, passes and defensive actions, cheap high-volume midfielders and defenders usually earn their place in the squad ahead of a third premium attacker.

Are RSL Fantasy predicted points free?

You can see the top of the current ranking on this page for free. Full player picks, the optimal team calculator, predicted line-ups and the team planner are included in the 7-day free trial - a card is required to start it, and you can cancel any time before it ends.
