Gameweek 6 in Fantasy Voetball is a partial double gameweek, and it is a very lopsided one. Only two clubs play twice – Ajax and Willem II – and they meet each other in the extra fixture on Tuesday 15 September. That gives Ajax two matches against two of the four weakest defences in the Eredivisie, and gives Willem II two away trips against the two strongest opponents they could have drawn. The opponents matter as much as the favourites. Fortuna Sittard have the worst underlying numbers in the league this season – 0.98 xG created and 2.67 xG conceded per game, a net xG difference of -1.69. ADO Den Haag are barely better at -1.54, and they travel to a Twente side conceding just 0.51 xG per game, the best defensive record in the Eredivisie. Goalkeepers for Gameweek 6
This is the easiest position of the round. Marc-Andre ter Stegen (5.5m, Ajax) is on 9.0 pP, more than double what any other goalkeeper in the game projects. Two matches, a combined 0.79 expected clean sheets across the double, and Ajax have kept two clean sheets in four league games. At 23.8% ownership he is not a differential, but he is close to a must-own for one week: 1.64 points per million is the best rate of any keeper in the round.
If you cannot get to him, Jari De Busser (5.0m, AZ) is the sensible single-game alternative at 4.4 pP, with AZ at home to Willem II and a 50% clean sheet chance – the highest single-fixture clean sheet probability in Gameweek 6. He has 0.58 xGI per 90 this season and Twente host one of the two weakest sides in the division. Daouda Weidmann (5.1m, FC Twente) is the true budget option at 4.7 pP and 0.92 points per million – the cheapest way to take a stake in the ADO fixture.
Forwards
Wout Weghorst (8.5m, FC Twente) is the best single-game forward at 7.4 pP, with 0.90 expected goals from one match – the highest single-fixture xG of any player in Gameweek 6. Who to sell before Gameweek 6
Four popular players project badly this week, and in three cases the reason is minutes rather than fixture.
- Gjivai Zechiel (8.4m, Feyenoord) – 2.2 pP, 42.8% owned. The most-owned midfielder in the game is projected for just 45 minutes at a 49% start probability, and it is not a one-week blip: 2.2 → 2.1 → 1.9 → 2.1 → 1.7 → 2.6 through Gameweek 11. He has been excellent when he plays – four goals and three assists in 440 minutes – but you cannot carry an 8.4m rotation risk at that price. This is the single biggest sell in the game.
- Shaqueel van Persie (5.9m, Feyenoord) – 0.6 pP, 16.6% owned. Nine projected minutes, and a flat 0.6 pP for every one of the next six rounds. There is nothing to wait for.

Willem II also play twice, and players like Eser Gurbuz (5.0m) at 5.0 pP and Jaden Slory (5.9m) at 5.1 pP get 134 and 170 projected minutes respectively – a high floor for the price, and Slory takes the penalties. But the two fixtures are away at AZ and away at Ajax, with clean sheet chances of 3% and 4% and a combined expected goals total of 1.42. These are appearance-point plays and nothing more. If your squad is short of playing minutes they are defensible as cheap fillers; as anything else they are a bad use of a double.

Take up to three Ajax players and make one of them Berghuis.
